South Somerset Astronomical Society is open to anyone interested in Astronomy or Space flight. regardless of age or experience. We hold regular meetings between September and May, have observing sessions and visit places of astronomical interest. The Society has links with astronomical societies throughout the South-West, giving access to their meetings and equipement.

    We seek to encourage a popular interest in Astronomy throughout South Somerset. Whatever your interest or level of experience, the society has something to offer.

    The society levies an annual subscription which is fixed at the AGM for the coming season, with a 50p charge for coffee per meeting attended (includes refreshments).
